Sick days require a doctor's note. This combined with the garbage health insurance means you you will most likely lose money by going to the doctor. They simply don't care if you have a sick child, they also need a doctor's note. Worst company I've ever worked for.

Sick pay is only paid if you show documentation that you went to the doctor. If sick days become excessive, they will not be excused, regardless if you have a doctors note. If you call in sick they will follow up with you at noon to see how you are feeling and see if you can come to work. They have gotten a lot better though.
