The training was in depth and paid for, and I appreciated it and the person who trained me. There is a lot of training that is done while you're on the job and in the moment. It's necessary to bounce off of more senior employees while in your first couple weeks.
I would give the Job Training a higher rating, except for the fact that they had several of us redo training when they rewrote the program. While that may sound like justification for retraining, the training was held from 9:30 pm until 2:30 am, three days in a row. Out of the group of employees asked to attend the new training, I had been there the longest. Throughout the training, I already knew and had avidly practiced everything that was taught in training. I helped assist the training program. I do not think it was healthy for anyone to be in training until 2:30 in the morning, especially for the employees and managers who had been at the store working all day before going to late night training. I put in my two weeks after the first night because it was ridiculous.

It was relatively thorough. A lot of meetings and walk-throughs.

You must take initiative to learn product knowledge on your own. But they train you for two days.
