401K is pretty decent way to invest pre-tax money directly out of your paycheck (up to 75%!) and taking a loan out is easy as pie and is only a flat fee of $100, with 3.2% interest that you pay back to yourself!
No pension and I wouldn't count on investing the MTW stock unless you are well connected! The upper management is fudging reports, trading off easy indicators and should have the SEC brought down on them.
