We are able to work from home within reason. Our company works better through collaboration which is obviously achieved when we're all in the same room together - which is why we don't typically work from home more than a couple of times a month. However, if you need to work from home it is not an issue. Just get your work done and notify your team in advance.

Frowned upon by management unless you are dying in bed.

The ability to work from home (telecommute) was available, but seemed to be frowned upon when used. More value was put in but in your 9-5 chair than results of work.
