The deductibles are per person. If you have a family with multiple members expect to pay $600 a month for the insurance and then around $3000 out of pocket before any insurance kicks-in.

No complaints about the benefits

The cost per year and deductible make it such a waste of money. Very lousy coverage for a Multi-Million $$$$ Private University

Horrible customer service, small local insurance company

Self-funded and run out of a very small company in Macon with regular business hours. No automated systems available to check health benefits after hours.

It does not cover a lot. Even annuals have to partially be paid out of pocket. Out of pocket costs add up quickly.

The best thing is a relatively low deductible and the worst thing is the out of network costs at 20%.

The medical portion of the insurance offered by Mercer University was operated by Core Management during my employment there. I did not care for the insurance. The premiums were high, the coverage poor and the customer service was terrible.
