Mercy doctors were covered but still had a copay depending on what tier you used. Mercy doesn't have every specialist like ENT so you would need a referral plus have it approved before being seen or you paid full visit

In 2018, there are two choices: Mercy Plus and Choice. Both plans have large deductibles. The Choice plan is very expensive with very high deductibles. The Mercy Plus plan is more affordable but you are limited to Mercy Health physicians and facilities. Not all Mercy Health regions have a large enough physician network to take care of your family.

There are three different insurance plans and athe cost for all is reasonable. The premiums are taken directly from the pay.

Mercy offers a couple different health plans for different needs. Price is lower than most others in area. 80%/20% which is typical.

Right now, they have a very inexpensive plan ($110 every two weeks for full-family plan if nobody uses tobacco) with low co-pays, but you must see Mercy physicians and go to Mercy hospitals. That plan will likely be going away at the end of 2016 because HealthSpan (Mercy's insurance division) will cease to exist. My main issue with this plan is that there are only 2 Mercy urgent cares that you can go to, one in Eastgate and one in Springdale. And those locations are not open passed 5:00pm. If you need an urgent care in the evening, or if you don't live in those parts of town, you will have to go out-of-network.
