Vacation and Time Off or PTO were competitive

up to 8 weeks based on years of service

You get a fair amount of vacation time.

Twenty two days paid leave/year

Excellent for the number, but more demanding work

Sick days are part of your overall vacation days offered. Sliding scale as you gain time with company (in 5 year increments) - I think after 25 years you get 30+ days total. Also need to accrue time month-to-month within each year to receive all of that year's allotted vacation time, unless you carry over the max of 10 days from previous year. In that case you can use the 1 - 10 days immediately, and the rest later as you accrue it within that year.
