HDHP is the only reasonable priced option for more than 1 person. (PPO is $500+ a month for two healthy adults.) It works great if you contribute $50 a paycheck to HSA, and only need 1-2 doctor visits a year with no prescriptions. You can use the HSA to pay for dental and over-the-counter meds too. But if you have an emergency or a chronic illness, you’re out $5k a year before insurance pays. I wish there were more inexpensive PPO options, even if it was only for employee+spouse.

I am very happy with what is offered. There are a few different options from you which you can choose and they try to stay very competitive.

Health insurance is comparable to other companies I have worked at. I don't really have any major health issues so I don't know much about it.
