Employee prices on high-margin items are nice. Vendor personal-use-programs have are a disappointment compared to what they once were.

You get discounts on everything, except computers...

Most items in the general sales area are a good discount off, however more expensive components such as systems, TVs, expensive computer parts are much less discounted.

Big Items you get almost close to nothing off. TV's, Laptop's, Apple Products, ect. At most maybe $20 off. Accessories you get a huge discount on such as wires, cables, and whatnot. Their Service plan is like a gold mine! You can buy the highest plan for an expensive product for almost nothing. Service plans are golden at Micro Center. Read the terms and you will find out why.

It worked best for small things, like cables, adapters, computer accessories, etc. Items like processors, SSDs, TVs, computers and such (large items) tended to not get much of a discount, if ever at all.

The best thing was getting discounts on all the snacks and small electronics. You also had days where family and friends could take advantage of the discounts.

Not only do employees get good discounts, but four times a year they extend the discount to Micro Center associates friends and families.
