Many courses are made available for professional development and associates were encouraged to take advantage of webinars and other free trainings without having to use their personal time. Conferences were often supported as well.

The company talks a big game but many of the computer led classes are useless. Focus on the leadership classes instead

This all falls under the training and tuition reimbursement. However if your position requires an exam or designation Nationwide will pay for the courses and the test. If you fail it the first time, you are responsible for any future test fees.

There was room to go and promotions from within were offered.

There is plenty of room for growth and development.
