The best things about working at Navient were the very great benefits, pay, opportunities to move forward in a career & the diversity & welcoming feeling of the company and coworkers. The worst thing would be just dealing with a-hole customers all day. You have to have very tough skin

If you’rea full time employee, then you can get great benefits. When you’re not, such as contracted, you lose out. Especially on PTO.

As a former temporary employee, there is no benefits including no PTO, however, may be eligible for health insurance after 3 months of employment. There is an opportunity to transition from temporary to full-time through internal hiring based on performance and company's needs which then is eligible for benefits.

I was able to include my wife on coverage even though she had a plan available at your job (a sucky plan). Navient offers a platinum plan with a low deductible, along with two high-deductible options. As I search for my next job, I'm finding that high-deductible plans are the only options at most companies.
