Discount is great, but you can't always use it right away on new designer items..

the discount is on top of the promotion offered.

Once a year certain vendors participate in a double discount day where employees can shop and receive a double discount. I think it helps their sales as people tend to ask and want to buy what you are wearing on the sales floor.

It changed from 30 to 20 % in cosmetics

30% off stacks with in-store discounts and can be used at main line stores.

getting 50% off was good plus any other discount available to customers on top of it.
