Neiman Marcus management training was minimal. They assumed your immediate supervisor would train you but if they did not have strong training skills or no interest in training they left you to ask questions and sink or swim. Non-exempt sales employees have a 1-5 day orientation process but not enough is focused on the sales process and how to be successful in their new role.
