NH offers 3 tiers of healthcare insurance for full-time employees through Cigna. The best Premium coverage is through the NH network. Premiums are affordable, and only $10 copay for PC, and $50 copay for specialists. There is an individual and family deductible, but on this plan its more affordable for hospital stays, outpatient surgeries, and certain tests. It can be confusing, so while your hospital surgeon and PC might be an NH provider, none of the radiologists are, so you will pay higher out of pocket fees for any radiology reading or anesthesia. The 2nd Tier is in network with Cigna. You will pay significantly more for providers and services in this tier. For example, for a simple PC visit with an in-NH network provider who will pay $10 or $50, for an in network with Cigna, you will pay anywhere from $150-$350, depending on labs, tests etc. Then the 3rd tier is out of network for both NH and Cigna, and in my humble opinion, this tier is unaffordable for most people. Keep in mind, many of the NH providers and their office staff do not understand the in-NH network vs the in-Cigna network and will unknowingly mislead patients to think something is covered to find out months later it wasn't because it was only in-Cigna network.

The insurance is pretty good and reasonably priced. If you see a novant provider you get a better coverage using the company provided insurance.
