The best thing is the Oracle can give you as much 6% of salary as the 401K. The worst part is that you cannot get more.

No comment; easy to set up. Matches 50% up until you hit 6%.

good matching program to help build equity--Oracle does not provide equity (stock) to most employees, so this helps.

The 401(k) plan is as good as I would expect from Oracle. I was surprised at the lack of incentives, structure, managerial competence, etc. as an employee. I wish they matched a full 6%, but they don't. Honestly, it's Fidelity that takes care of you. As long as your 401(k) has %1000 in it, it will not be gutted, you will have the option of rolling it over for a new employer, or into an IRA.

They do matching contribution but can do higher percentage.
