It is good but limited by the location you work at. If you spouse works, they charge you 150/month extra if your spouse has access to insurance.

They offer a plan but if your store manager is terrible (like mine was starting out) they may never give you the information you need, and HR may also neglect to send you the forms. My sign-up window was gone before I could find all the information I needed to sign up, and I was told it was a zero exceptions policy so no health insurance for me. Extremely problematic and possibly illegal.

Coverage isn’t great and they put most of the cost on their employees

Really expensive. Flat rate regardless of salary.

My wife is retired and her medical benefits are better than what PPG offers for a full time employee.

Ok - they recently changed their plans for those in corporate hq - average run of the mill offering here

I have no strong opinion either way. They do offer many different plans around 5 to choose from.
