Sick Leave

Only five days is hard to manage through a year.

24 hours of sick paid leave for part time employees, basically a week of paid leave.

24 hours a year of paid sick time. Very easy process to claim the sick time, you just had to email the manager that you are feeling sick and cannot come in for a particular shift and the sick time gets processed onto your upcoming pay stub. If you didn't use any part of your 24 hours it disappears at the end of the year; no roll over. To reiterate, I was a part-time recruiter (worked under 25 hours a week usually) so this was the sick time available to me. It was great.

Limited number of paid sick days, but they are reasonable
