Paychex does a portion of all training in Rochester, NY at the company head quarters. They pay flight, lodging and a stipend for expenses. The remainder and majority of your training is through self study, and internet training. The company used to have an extensive network of field trainers, but they have reduced staff for cost savings. The period of time in Rochester, NY was also reduced for cost savings to a single week.

Fabulous training program for new employees, however, taxes and payroll are complex and require time and experience to fully grasp. No matter what is taught, real world experience ends up being the best teacher.
