Employee Discounts

I think it depends on your position; I was in a group where if I needed to order a couple of textbooks for personal use, I could just get them for free. Definitely wouldn't suggest you try to abuse this, but if you or your kids are in school it seems like it might be a nice fringe benefit.

Historically, I was able to get a discount on books published by Pearson and its affiliates. Since they've been selling off their affiliates (like Penguin), I'm not sure if that discount still holds.

Movie tickets, 23% on Cell phones.

There are lots of options available from cell phone plan discounts to child care to entertainment. Too many options to list.

They offer some - but they seem to be equivalent or worse than discounts I can get through other free services.

The Employee discount on Pearson products is good, but some times only offered on a limited selection - not all the items (ie schoolbooks). I did not use the Employee discounts offered on cellphones, online shopping and the like.

Schlitterbahn and YMCA are good discounts.

Not much to discount besides 50% for textbooks

BSC offers thirty dollar monthly plans. This is unheard of. The best thing is that it is right downstairs.

If you need textbooks, the discount is good.
