Wildly inconsistent, most employees leave once receiving a decent amount of training. Pomeroy is a training ground, basically - and mostly a training ground for what NOT to do.

Most job training is on the job or computer based. Would like to see lab training for new equipment

Not a ton of training on my part, but it's a learn as you go kind of job and there was always plenty of support when I needed it

For the help desk - Oh the job training is gloriously bad. No training documentation, no plan of action to acclimate new employees to the job, just "here, sit and watch and listen." It's not a hard job, granted, but the level of training is laughable at best. While I was working there I had a coworker, who had been there for 3 years, ask me how to install a printer. He hadn't even been trained to use Google to answer questions like "how do I install a network printer"
