Too expensive but have access to special programs when on insurance

For a non-profit that does healthcare all day everyday, my health insurance should not have been over $80 a week as a single insured person.

When you start working there, how soon after are you eliglble for insurance?

health care benefits are ok high deductible plan - family rate $5000. PPO $2500. family plan and you are responsibility for 20% after deductible is met

The pricing was affordable. They ran bloodwork on you yearly and if you were tobacco free, you received significantly discounted rates. Coverage area was very limited-there were doctors offered close to my work but I needed to drive at least 25 minutes from my home to see a doctor and the hospital near my house was also not covered-the nearest hospital to me was 35 minutes away which I felt was a very big safety risk in the event of an emergency.

Variety was good, offered Employee + Child options, discount in fees if employee and spouse participates in annual health fair, offered Quickcare when unable to get an appointment with primary care physician usually same day at one of several locations through Employee Health/Urgent Cares. Health insurance for 2016 fees for employees has increased.
