Don't use too many but they are there.

40 hours per year for sick leave. No incentive with pay for unused sick time or accumulation of unused sick hours over 40, therefore most employees would call in sick to avoid losing those hours, which decreases productivity.

We get 5 paid sick days every year!

Sick days were similar to vacation days. Base pay with no compensation for the day.
