STI is small (about one paycheck) and varies very little based on performance. The difference between an Outstanding rating and a Needs Development rating was about $400. It is very nice to get right before Christmas, but does not inspire extra effort or really impact compensation.

I've had good and excellent bonuses here - it depends not only on company performance by how well groups measure against their extended objectives. Front office tends to get higher percentages, but functions and staff also have an opportunity for extra.
