The employee discount is amazing!

The employee discount is at 50% for REI products and up to 50% or better discounts for a variety of other products sold at REI.

It is very fair. REI products 50% off and about 30% for anything else. If you are commended for doing a good job, you receive merits that allow you eventually to get an additional 10% off.

30% off in store purchases, REI brand and otherwise, and 50% off REI brand purchases if you are purchasing them for yourself. Pro Deals vary but are usually around 50-60% off. This is ordered directly from the vendor, but can usually only be purchased for yourself.

You are able to purchase straight from REI vendors which can be up to 75-80% off at times. It comes in super handy for restocking gear before a big trip or just keeping your garage overly filled.

Spouses and life partners also get store discounts.
