Matching 100% up to 4%

A little complicated: 100% match to first 3% (before 5 years) 4% (after 5 years) this is immediately vested. PLUS an additional 2.5 to 7% based on years of service and age at hiring date (you're penalized for starting before 30 yrs old). The extra amount starts after 1 year and is 100% vested after 3 years of service. You can contribute (your part) up to federal limits in addition. Fidelity administers the 401k. There are 15-20 typical choices of investments, plus the opportunity to manage your own in other fidelity choices.

Usual benefit that you will get in typically big company nowaday. Nothing to be wow and happy about.
