Regal Entertainment Group offered employee discounts for food, which made it a decent price, as opposed to a year's salary for a hotdog. Even then, the food itself is sub-par quality so you're better off bringing a lunch or grabbing one on the 30-minute break you get for an 8 hour shift. The best "discount" was 100% off, FREE, movie tickets on a daily basis. I used this at every opportunity, since Floor Staff only makes minimum wage. It also applied to other theaters, as long as it was called in ahead of time and you brought a pay stub with you.

Free movies at any Regal-owned cinema (Which included Regal, United Artists, and Edwards). At this location (unique in having a co-owner/partner individual whose office was at the location), we were restricted to having one guest come with us. I assumed this was policy of all theatres until I visited a different one...
Myself and another co-worker visited a friend in another city--Assuming I could only have one guest, we both were going to bring our paycheck stubs (in order to get the free tickets)... We expected to have to pay for the third person, but when I went up to get the employee tickets and showed my pay stub, the box office cashier printed out three...
Once again we were obviously used to a rule made up by the cheap, greedy co-owner; I'm sure there is a limit as to how many guests an employee can get free tickets for, but I've no idea how it's determined (per theatre, by district or regional managers)... but it is a nice perk considering the price a movie ticket costs!!
Regal
Thank you for your input. Regal's ticket policy is an employee and one guest is free. Any additional tickets may be given out at theatre managment's discretion.

The discount is only for specific items, I wish it was for everything. Half off of some items.
