It states 75% match of up to 6% of your salary, but then caps this matching at 1500, 2500 and 3000 per year. Also this matching vests over 3 years for a relatively low sum. Another reviewer called it a joke, but I think it's just a penalty for folks that make more than 33k (hopefully most employees) as 75% of 6% of this salary hits the cap, so essentially it's a little bait and switch. HR could simply reword this "we will match 100% of your contribution up to 1500, 2500 or 3000 in the first 3 years" and not need 1 page to explain this.

Could be higher matching but still at OK level

The 401k matching is pathetic! Maximum of $500/$1500/$1500 for first 3 years and $2000 for yr 4 and beyond. If you make $100,000, this equates to 0.5%/1.5%/1.5%/2% and the averages in 401k administrator articles are over 4%! Matching is vested immediately though, but so what at this amount of $. We should get a bit more once we're on SAP benefits beginning Jan 1, but it's not much.

I hate the Acensus website it's way worse than most up-to-date 401K plans

This is pretty standard. The match isn't as high as some other companies but it still adds something to your compensation if you take advantage of it.
