They do a 6% match with you dollar for dollar. However, it is vested in increments. After 1 year it is 1/3 vested, 2 years it is 2/3 vested and 3 years it is all vested. This is a drawback.

the 410(K) company match is in a normal range in the local market. It is obviously not the best and also not the worst.

Company matches up to the first 6% of your salary contribution + an annual bonus (which has been shrinking a lot, now maybe 1-2% of your salary). The standard choice of funds is very limited, but OK. I think there is an option of self directed investment, but at an extra cost.
