Their stock is at a 52 week low and dropping, no wonder the way they treat their employees, even with a small locked in discount no one wants to buy a junk stock

Standard employee discounts for company shares. No benefits extended to former employees.

This benefit used to be much more attractive to the employee but has been scaled back significantly in the last few years.

the plan is for options, and with maturity , it is not a benefit but a retention tool

Not as good as some other companies in the percentage discount for purchase but the stock holds value very well and 7.5% is good starting discount. They only do purchases twice per year so I wish it was 4 per year.

7.5% discounted and some good performers will be awarded stock options but not at this time when the industry is down

Stock Options are available twice a year. The stock is sold at a small discount to employees. I've seen the stock as high as $118 and as low as $60.

It is ok, especially considering they care more about stock prices than employees. You can almost always count on SLB stock to perform...
