SM&A provides three Anthem Blue Cross medical plan options to choose from (HMO, PPO, and HSA/PPO). We offer coverage in three tiers (single, single plus one and family). With these plans we provide a defined benefit contribution in order to share the cost of the benefits. The employee portion of the benefits is taken pre-tax out of the bi-weekly payroll. All SM&A employees working 30 hours or more a week are eligible for our medical benefits upon date of hire.
