There is no vesting period

The match is up to 6% which is good, not great

They match 50% of 6% contribution

Seems like an average match from what I've heard. Comes out to a 3% match.

Recently implemented a higher employer match.

OK. Very weak company match. 0.25% (company) per 1% (employee) up to 6% (employee) to 1.5% max (company)

Matching is is something like 0.25% for every 1% you contribute up to 6%. So 6*0.25 = 1.5% They will match up to 1.5% if you contribute 6%. Better than nothing. The one advantage is that you are fully vested day one, which is an upside if you don't see yourself their long term.

Basically no employee matching so it is like a pre tax savings account

Very low company match (1.5% if you contribute 6%).
