Sometimes you don't have the option of working from the office if you have a flexible role since there wont be any space in the office area you seek and you are not assigned a fixed spot due to your job title. So its sometimes a Catch-22 situation

The work-from-home policy tends to vary depending upon business unit. Some are as flexible as two days a week WFH while most get annoyed at anyone taking more than one day a week.

Usually 2 days/week with manager's discretion. But this is slowly changing.
