Decent dental insurance if you know where to go. I received a root canal from an "in network" provider who gave me an estimate of $500. Received a bill for $300. Switched dentist. New dentist said it could only be $500 for root canal. Obviously the original dentist charged more than insurance allowed but insurance didn't do anything to help case.

We use to have a dentist they paid for well, but later cut back on the program, and as a result we ended up paying
quite a lot, rather than change dentist.
