Tuition assistance was not available for 2 years during my employment. When they did offer assistance your manager controlled if they wanted to sign off on it, so if your manager hated you they didn't give it to you. And you had to pretty much beg for them to help you. And If you received a low review (although not negative) you don't qualify for tuition assistance. In other word if your review came in as somewhat meeting expectation then you didn't get it. Another negative was the amount of time they locked you in once they did assist with tuition.
