Absolutely awful. You don't get sick time, you have to use your earned PTO if you get sick. And there is no PTO share amongst employees. Someone I work with got extremely ill last year, and ran out of PTO. We tried to call HR and share some of our PTO with her, but they would not allow it. She had to miss work and not get paid, on top of being incredibly ill.

PTO is used as sick days. There's no such thing here. I would only use PTO if you're actually sick. You are more respected if you don't miss a lot of days of work, like most places of employment.
