Maternity leave is for 6 months which is paid by the company and you can extend it by another 3 months at your own expense. Also get a paid paternity leave of 2 weeks but it varies from country to country

its good to work in Shell especially if you are a female. They get ample leave opportunities in case of maternity. Paternity leave is applicable only in other countries, in India it is restricted to 5 days.
