When I worked there, you paid a 'smokers' or a 'non smoker' premium for insurance. I did not find the insurance excessively expensive, but make sure you are in market wherever you go. I had an outrageous bill from an ER for a ct scan because it was out of network.

It's more affordable to buy private insurance. I bet they increase the cost and give the CEO a cut because it's ridiculous what they deducut for insurance.
