I hear it used to be good when it was Blue Cross Blue Shield. But it is now BAS (Benefit Administration Services) and it is expensive and terrible. No one has ever heard of it and insists they don’t take it, so you’re left paying out of pocket up front. Pre-auth required for just about everything. Boasts an online member portal that is actually very basic and won’t allow you to submit claims- only through snail mail.
