Sound Transit does not participate in Social Security instead it offers a 401a plan which means the employee contributes 10% and Sound Transit contributes 12%.
The Plan is fully vested after 4 years of employments (in 20% increments).
Sound Transit pays all fees associated with the management of the retirement portfolio associated with the plan.
It also offers a 457b plan which is optional
