Like most things, the cost of the healthcare coverage has gone up. The out of pocket max has increased to $10,000! If you have any major medical happen, such as a surgery, or plan to have a child, know that you will be paying $10k. After asking around others in our area about their medical out of pockets max, most average around $3-4k. A family plan for the year will cost you out of pocket, around $5k for medical, dental and vision. At a $45k salary, minus the $5k for pay check deductions, then try to financially plan to pay off $10k medical expenses for someone that is planning to start a family, or has an accident, or needs a surgical procedure, how can some of the employees afford it?

Seemed that the plan didn't cover as much as I had come to expect
