There are 2-3 different options for this as well. Legere told our previous Director of Human Resources that the original Dental Insurance offerings were horrible and needed to be changed live on a webcast shortly after becoming CEO and the results are quite reasonable.
I personally choose the top tier plan which is slightly more expensive than the other options but we are able to continue to see any provider we want without sacrificing our % we are responsible for, not to mention, with a large family with young children I will gladly choose a slightly higher premium in exchange for a lower/non-existent copay.
I withheld one star because if I don't choose to pay the higher premium then I would be required to go to in-network providers. The issue is there are only 2 or 3 in a 100 mile radius according to the Delta Dental website.

The dental coverage is pretty much the same as any other company that I've had in the past, but the Spending Account offered to every employee really helps with any unexpected additional costs.

Only cover 80% of most procedures and only up to 1500/year. Dentists are expensive, the plan needs more total coverage.
