They give you a Christmas bonus based on 'performance' but it's really not. The manager doesn't want to ruffle any feathers so he divides it up either by seniority or just evenly. There is 1 other person on my team that works for my company and they are not the best at the job at all and I would bet money my performance reviews are better but he gets the exact same bonus as me, which is unfortunate for people who work hard to do the job correctly.
