Health benefits are good but some agencies are much better.

I chose to opt-out of medical insurance.

It was good. I paid $500 for a hospital visit that totaled over $5000.

I guess it's a bit more expensive than the private sector insurance I've been exposed to, but it's still great insurance companies that are in its pool.

Very pricey - took a large percentage of my pay check. Once I quit, they charged me for an additional month premium, stating that coverage had begun prior to me paying so I owed one month premium @ $575. Very harsh for a barely minimum wage job.
