Great to have the option, but you'll receive fewer overall benefits as a work from home employee and they will install Big Brother software on your computer to stalk you. The software doesn't track time correctly, so you'll end up working 45-50hrs/week just to hit 40hrs on the software. CEO doesn't care, he sees it as free labor (no overtime pay even if you do go over 40 on the software).

Frequent check ins with your team and priority planning. Easy to communicate via Zoom and Slack.

They will ask for proof of your internet speed. You also need to be completely isolated from roommates/spouses/pets when “on the clock” and cannot share a workspace with anyone who does not work at the company. Expect to have some pushback when getting the equipment that you need to work from home. Also, you are on the hook for shipping materials when returning items.

Work from home, but we will monitor you as much as possible, make sure your internet speed is fast enough, etc.
