Lack of choice is a big negative. In-network sometimes has zero providers in a particular specialty that you need.

The plans aren't great, but they are affordable. Thrivent has hundreds of employees who have been with the company 30+ years and not a lot of young people. An aging employee base is beginning to drive up the costs. Nothing to do about that, but be aware of it. They offer a high deductible plan and two traditional plans.

Typical benefit. Like the fact that we get the same amount of money from Thrivent regardless of the plan.
