Professional development consists mostly of weekly phone calls with manager/partner where you recap your week and work on your business plan. Training consists of "call the Sales Desk" who will then expect you to do joint field work and that takes away from your compensation. There are a lot of Skype meetings where different topics are taught/discussed but little time for specific questions is given and most questions go unanswered. You really need to have previous experience as a financial advisor before coming to work with this company because they aren't going to teach you how to do the work of an advisor.
