Matches 6% and gave the option in 2012 to exchange pension plan for additional 2% 401k contribution.

Good 401k plan, 6% match

401K match of 6-8% based on vesting.

Best Thing: If you can afford it you can contribute 6% or more of your earnings and the company will match your contributions up to 6%. Worst: There is an additional 2% contribution by the company but it is only available after 3 years vested.

They could provide more options for what to invest in otherwise it is good.

being vested day one is a great perk vs other companies in the area that require 90 days with the company

The mutual fund choices were reasonable and provided reasonable growth. The Company match was what I would consider standard for the industry.
