Employees may select from three plans: an Exclusive Physician Organization (EPO), Choice Plus Preferred Physician Organization (PPO) or Co-Insured EPO option. All three options include a Pharmacy and Vision Plan. Travis County’s current policy is to pay 100% of the employee’s health insurance premium for the PPO and Co-insured EPO options only. Employees pay $91 of their premium for the EPO. Other insurance benefits include $50,000 Basic Life and AD&D paid by the County.
