They don’t do matching but I guess there are options to have them invest it for your but that seems really risky.

Agree with RN May 2nd comments. Between fees, few good choices in their plan (not a national Fidelity plan where there would be more choices and lower fees for being in the plan; I had Fidelity elsewhere and it is superior) and nothing close to a "3% at the start" match in the past two years where there was no match best to save on your own with an IRA plus. There might have been a match for management. Management gets bonuses and annual pay increases even when nurses and other staff do not. They even have a separate time for their annual reviews, after all are done for non-mgmt employees.

Very disappointing. My recommendation is to opt out and contribute to your own personal IRA account. Years pass without any contributions from corporate and when they do...it is usually like 2.5-3%. Keep in mind, many companies offer 50-100% matching up to a set limit.

3-6 percent match helps. It depends on how long you've been with them, but 3% at the start.
