Turnitin offers tax-choice Short-Term and Long-Term Disability programs. With the non-taxable benefit, employees pay taxes on the premium and then the disability payments (should you need them) are tax-free. With the taxable benefit choice, employees do not pay taxes on the premium and then the disability payments are taxable.
